HOW TO MAKE THOUSANDS IN FOUR HOURS OR LESS

My husband and I married young. As with many marriages, there were issues in which we were not in agreement. Money is one of the common areas in which couples often disagree and this was our case.

He was a handsome, hardworking, talented carpenter and an excellent mechanic. I was a creative teacher type who cut hair 30 hours a week, and home schooled my sons. I also taught High School History and Drama in our parent-run school. Our young grandson was with us often. There was the cooking and laundry and dentists and all the things that mothers do. Church, school, sports and family activities filled up all the rest of the time. Our house was always full of lively activity, friends and family. It was and is such a joy to be that busy with a family.

My husband and I were both collectors. I collected books and music. He collected cars. I didn’t mind him having a lot of cars and big stuff like that. I would have liked for him to have more.

The problem was that he was constantly pushing me to make more money. I believed he should talk to me first about big decisions. He had many wonderful qualities that I appreciated, but we did not see things eye to eye at all. Money was an especially touchy subject.

I had read in the Word of God what God says about serving either God or mammon*, one or the other. And I had read that we are to seek first God’s Kingdom*, and if we would do this, God Himself would add to us everything else we needed.  I don't think my husband even heard me when i spoke.

The daily demand was, Make more money! Make more money!  But I already felt like a rubber band that was s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d to the max.

Then, one morning when I was being pulled especially hard, I snapped.

“You want money? Ok! You’re going to get money!”

I opened up the Word of God and with fiery determination made up my mind to pray aloud every single scripture

in the Bible concerning finances until he had all the money he wanted.

I began at 8:00 am. "It is written!" and "Lord, You said..."

By 9:00 am I was stomping around and praying God's Word back to Him much louder.

At 10:00 am my husband called to say, “Every single job I’ve quoted for the past 6 months is calling in TODAY! This is crazy!”

I replied, “Good. You wanted money so I’m praying for money.”

He then said, “Well you can stop now because I have more than enough. I don’t even know if I can do all this work.”

I said, “Nope. I’m just getting started! You’re going to have so much money!”

At 11:00 am I was still fervently declaring the Word of the Lord when my oldest son,an electrician, called, laughing.

“Mom? I just talked to Dad and he said you were praying for money. Well I just picked up a $1000.00 side job for this weekend!

Thanks Mom!”

At noon, my husband called again.

With a terrified laugh he begged, “PLEASE STOP praying for money. I’m going to have to hire some people.”

I said, “Nope.”

At 1:00 pm, my youngest son called. His boss had asked him, “Do you want all these old phones?

I don’t know why I’ve held onto them. Here, take them.” My young computer genius sold the ten i-phones on eBay.

My older son called a second time, laughing harder.

“Mom! I just got another $1000.00 side job for NEXT weekend! Thanks Mom!”

“You’re welcome honey. Thank the Lord for it.”

That evening my husband said to me, “There’s this lady who lives out of town but has a condo on the beach and needs it painted. It’s a fast. easy job. She said we could stay there for a week, but I’m too busy. I quoted it at $1600.00. Do you want to do it?”

Yes.  I did want to hang out in a condo on the beach.

I rearranged my schedule and spent much of the next week on the beach enjoying this nice lady’s coffee maker, stereo, and view.

My husband and a family friend who’d been out of work for a while ended up swamped for the next several months.

They made a lot of money.

Whatever your need, find out what God says about it in His Word. Be sure you are in Christ, and obeying Him in that area of your need.

Then, declare His Word over your situation until whatever is put of line aligns with His Word!.

Enforce the victory Jesus won for you on the cross!

Jesus is the Word of God. (John 1:1; Rev. 19:13)

Jesus has all power and authority. (Matt. 28:18)

God’s Word does not return to Him void. (Is. 55:11)

The Angels carry out the VOICE of God’s Word. (Ps. 103:20)

The enemy (the resistance) resides in the second heaven. God’s Throne is in the Third Heaven.

I BROKE THROUGH the second and into the Third. You can too. (II Cor. 12:2)

What is YOUR impossible situation? (Luke 1:37)

PUSH! (Pray Until Something Happens!)
